My name is Nicki and I have always described myself as an English Rose, because I dress elegantly and love the finer clothes. I have recently returned, with much regret, from the USA where I was living and working for a couple of years and there I left behind some very, very special friends; even if they insisted on calling me the "English Matron"! I only hope they have the opportunity to visit these hallowed shores in the future, then I can show them the highlights of London where I have returned to live and work.
I was born in the mid 50's, a lady does not like to give her exact age away, and have been dressing in women's clothes since I was 3 years old. My earliest memories are of amusing my family by walking around in high heels and stockings, and keeping a bra by my bed. There is nothing like starting young! It is very hard to describe why I love the feel, texture, colours and style of women's clothes. In reading pages by other like-minded girls, we all find it difficult to express in words the feelings we feel. In my case let's just say it "feels so right" I feel so comfortable and at ease with myself dressed this way. It is not just the erotic thrill of it all, but the rightness of it.
Despite the length of time I have been dressing I only "came out" relatively recently; how I regret all those lost years. The major change in my life was this wonderful cyber medium, which has allowed me to explore my feminine side with other like-minded sisters and wonderful admirers around the world.
A few years ago I would have described myself as a heterosexual cross-dresser. But that would obscure the delight I feel, and the pleasure I take, in seeing and hearing from other girls who love dressing. I suppose the best way of putting is that I just love being a woman and spending my time, and quality time at that, with people who love women with something a little different to offer.
I am married and my SO has fully supported me and helps me pick the styles and sizes that suit me. I have been out en-femme quite a few times now, and we have even been out together whilst on holiday. I now even go and do all my shopping when I am en femme, even clothes shopping at the better department stores; and yes I do use the fitting rooms! I feel so comfortable and natural as a woman, that I just am a woman when I am en femme. You can read all about my times en femme in my adventures.
