I can hear you saying "some people have all the luck", well yes I did I suppose. My company wanted me to front up some business in the USA, Washington DC to be precise. How could I refuse an opportunity like that? Well all the effort to pack up and move across the pond rather limited Nicki's opportunity to get out and about. Also where would I go in DC and who with? The first thing to do was find out where to go. Well the girls on-line in the chat rooms soon pointed me in the right direction - Ziegfelds in DC, known everywhere as Ziggy's. This is a club that puts on some excellent drag shows, and TG folk are more than welcome. The shows are really very good and I can recommend them to you, but be warned, do not sit in the front row of tables or else you will soon find yourself in the spot light with the show's hostess! |

The other TG girls I met there made feel really at ease and now I have been a number of times I feel very comfortable with them and at the club. But Nicki wanted more than to go to Clubs that catered for TG folk, she wanted to go out and about as woman in DC and shop and wine and dine - the full works! |

Well in January I met on line in the TG Forum chat room a nice TG lady called Tina. We had a lot in common in that we were both new to the area, similar ages and similar outlooks on life. |

Over the months we became firm Internet friends chatting regularly in both the TG Forum chat room and on ICQ. Isn't technology wonderful, where would we be without it? She like me was determined to get out and about, but we could never quite arrange dates that matched. That is until August 1999 |
