Well to kick of our long weekend I invited Tina over to have dinner with me. What a wonderful woman, she really knows how to dress wonderfully, and oh so tolerant of my cooking. Oh just as you can tell from the pictures, we both had our nails done for the weekend. |

Of course I wasn't going to let Tina drive afterwards, anyway I also wanted to see these cute PJs she brought with her. No pictures of Nicki in the morning thank goodness, we didn't want to break the camera. |
||||||||||
|
On Friday we went back into DC to our favourite waterhole, Chaos, and then into Annie's for a post prandial cocktail. |
|
||||||||||
|
|
We had a wonderful late evening, kindly entertained by Joe our barman and, Wayne a guest on the other side of the bar. |
||||||||||
|
|
Saturday night we pulled out all the stops and decided we both need protein, so we headed out to Ruth's Chris steak house. Tina looked really cute in this black dress, although I was to get into trouble later for not telling her slip straps were showing. See if you can spot them! |

Whilst Tina was in black, I felt it would be an ideal opportunity to wear my silk suit. Ideal for Ruth's Chris, but perhaps not quite revealing enough for Ziggy's later! |

Ziggy's was a real blast, and we were both on top form, along with all the other girls. |

And no before you ask, we haven't had too much to drink and we are not ready to fall over! Well not quite yet anyway. |

And what did we do in the day? You may well ask. Well we both had a bit of extra shopping to do. Pentagon City Mall was particularly busy, and the staff in all the shops were very security conscious and extra careful with credit card transactions. So when my signature didn't look like mine on the card they asked for some ID. At this stage Tina stifled a giggle and abandoned me to my fate! Thanks Tina! Well I persuaded them to let me sign again, and dull passed the check! |

Tina kindly decided to pay me back for my attempt at hosting her. Wow is she a good cook! And she can mix a mean G&T as well. |

I was made to feel so at home, Tina thank you so very much for being my friend. I certainly needed to put my feet up after this weekend. Girls of a certain age can't burn the candles at both ends! |
