Time rushed by through the year 2000, but I still managed to find time to put my glad rags on and be the woman I like to be. This included a trip to the Philbeach Hotel in London for one of their famous Monday night soirees. This included Mr Sweetness calling me on my cellphone all the way from San Diego! |

I also managed a trip to the west coast to see Tina. We had a wonderful time. Even if I insisted on not dressing down for these scruffy Californians. I am sorry Tina this lady enjoys her preppy style! |

Tina and I actually also went out with her SO for a dinner, we had a wonderful time even if it was Tina and her SO's first time together in public. We had a wonderful time all girls together, even if Tina used the wrong compact to touch up her makeup. Gosh, we both had a giggle at Tina's expense! She had completely the wrong shade and looked a little like Krusty the Clown, I had to rush her to the ladies room to touch her up! In Tina's defence it was a little warm in the penthouse bar of the Marriott! |

I made a special effort to look good that weekend, I think I was quite successful. |

Tina and I also met one of her very good friends who wanted to meet the "ladies who like to lunch". |

Tina is always very fastidious about her looks, as am I! All I can say is that I have more luck with touching my make up when we are out in public together !!!!!! |
