Part 13

An Unlucky Number and a Unforgettable Weekend

Joy and rapture! Mr Sweetness and our wonderful entertainment director were heading eastwards again. We passed all our diaries over to our dear friend Tina, and she proceeded to arrange the weekend around us. She proceeded with alacrity to plan our every moment, gosh isn't she wonderful.

Highlight of Saturday evening was to be trip to Ziggy's. well it started wonderfully we all had a blast, as well as meeting a new friend called Jemma! Would you believe this was her first time out?

I think I looked particularly ravishing. Don't you agree?

All I can say is there are no more pictures of the weekend from this point. It all came to a rather abrupt end. Tina and I and Mr Sweetness left Ziggy's and made our way to his car.
Mr Sweetness and I got in the front of the car, but we were both unaware that whilst we were in the car that Tina was confronted by a mugger and stabbed in the chest in the process of having her handbag snatched.
We rushed Tina to the quack shop and they did their magic, and she was saved. We didn't realize until much later what a near run thing it was! Meanwhile Mr Sweetness and myself were interviewed by the Police and had the pleasure of revisiting the crime scene.
All I can say is that the police deserve absolute credit. They were wonderful with me as who I was, and Mr Sweetness with who he was, and Ms Tina with how she was. They were wonderfully non-judgmental, and I they have my thanks.

Tina has now eventually recovered, but it has taken time. This was an isolated incident and not an bigoted attack on a TG person, rather it was an attack on a woman to seize her handbag.
